HONEY RUN GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB IMPROVEMENTS

Improvement to the condition and playability of the golf course continue to be a high priority for us here at Honey Run Golf & Country Club. Along with being reshaped, the Front 9 Greenside Bunkers have all new subsurface drainage and sand in them. New irrigation pumps were purchased and installed this past spring. We have also installed a new pond intake pipe with a screen to preserve the life of our irrigation pumps.

The Bunker Renovation Project will continue this winter. Our next phase in the bunker renovation process is to install internal drainage to the Back Nine Greenside Bunkers, reshape the bunker edges and add additional sand. Our goal for this winter is to complete the Back 9 Greenside Bunkers by the spring of 2010. Additionally, if the weather cooperates we will try to renovate as many fairway bunkers as possible.

We are committed to improving Honey Run and strive to be the best public course in the area. You can help us improve Honey Run too by keeping your carts on the cart path on all Par 3 holes and at all green and tee locations. Please respect the cart rules for the day. This only benefits you and helps in keeping Honey Run one of the best conditioned golf courses in the region.
